The Comfy Registry does not allow eval or exec in custom nodes, and a formula node evaluates text that travels
inside workflow files; the registry's scan flagged 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 for it. The main branch (what the registry and
ComfyUI-Manager install) keeps the structured nodes only; the formula node, its checked language and its
full-Python opt-in live on the experimental branch.
Removed from main: CFG Mix: Your Own Formula (CFGP_MixFormula) and everything that served it in engine.py (the
helpers, the checked language, the evaluator, the flow variables shift / t_raw and flow_shift), formulas/, the two
formula example workflows, the formula tests, smoke cases and docs. No eval, exec, compile or dynamic import is
left in the pack.
What the formula cases measured moves to the structured nodes: the Scale Rules node's standard rule computed in the
noise and velocity spaces (neutral checks of the space conversions), and CFG Mix: Pentachoron for the pentachoron.
Checks:
- tests: 44 pass on CPU (the plain-CFG-in-every-space, round-trip, sigma-1, flow-converter and single-frame checks
now run the standard or pentachoron rule).
- In ComfyUI on the GPU: SDXL 42/42 cases, every neutral case identical to plain sampling; Anima 22/22, the noise
and velocity spaces at the same float-rounding figures the formula gave (mean 2.596, max 124 of 255), the
pentachoron's plain-CFG limit 0.239. 63 nodes registered.
