# Reed-Solomon Encode Encodes data with Reed-Solomon error correction codes. Source library: `reedsolo` ## Overview Reed-Solomon codes are non-binary cyclic error-correcting codes. They are a powerful tool for correcting burst errors in data streams. This node takes input data and adds a specified number of error correction symbols (ECC symbols) to it. The resulting data is more resilient to corruption. ## Parameters - **data**: The `BYTESLIKE` data to be encoded. - **ecc_symbols**: The number of error correction symbols to add. A higher number provides more error correction capability but also increases the size of the output data. ## Outputs - **encoded_data**: The original data with the ECC symbols appended, as a `BYTESLIKE` object.
