Verified against a clean ComfyUI started on a separate port: 313 repos,
Comfy-Org 87, Kijai 76, city96 41, Lightricks 66, all 13 LTX-2.5 repos, the
dead Wan-AI pin gone, list sorted newest-first, LIGHTRICKS and CITY96 both
present as author groups in the panel, no console errors.
That test also exposed a real upgrade hazard. The v1 cache was a bare JSON
list; the fingerprinted cache added in the previous commit is an object, but
kept the same filename. A ComfyUI still running pre-upgrade code reads that
file and hands the frontend an object where it expects an array, so the panel
breaks until restart — which is exactly what happened here once the new code
wrote the shared file. The cache is now .repo_cache_v2.json, so the two
formats cannot collide, and loadAll() rejects a non-array /repos response with
a message saying to restart rather than failing obscurely.
Neither this nor the previous fixes can take effect in an already-running
ComfyUI: Python imports modules once at startup, so editing model_manager.py
does nothing until the process restarts.
