Node Discovery

Why was ComfyFlow Insight created?

As ComfyUI workflows become larger, they become increasingly difficult to understand.

Example:

100+ Nodes

200+ Links

Multiple Branches

Complex Dependencies

Manual inspection becomes inefficient.

ComfyFlow Insight was created to provide engineering visibility into workflow design.

Does ComfyFlow Insight modify my workflow?

No.

ComfyFlow Insight is an analysis platform.

It:

Analyzes

Recommends

It does not:

Delete Nodes

Modify Nodes

Reconnect Nodes

Change Workflow Behavior

without user action.

Is my workflow data uploaded anywhere?

No.

All analysis runs locally inside your ComfyUI environment.

ComfyFlow Insight does not send workflow data to external services.

Does ComfyFlow Insight require an internet connection?

No.

After installation, analysis is performed locally.

Metrics Questions

What is Workflow Depth?

Workflow Depth measures the longest execution distance from workflow start to workflow finish.

Example:

LoadImage
     ↓
ImageScale
     ↓
KSampler
     ↓
SaveImage

Depth:

4

What is Complexity Score?

Complexity Score estimates workflow complexity.

It considers:

Node Count

Link Count

Branches

Dependencies

Workflow Structure

What is Workflow Density?

Formula:

Links ÷ Nodes

Example:

180 Links

120 Nodes

Density = 1.5

What is Health Score?

Health Score measures workflow quality.

Range:

0–100

Interpretation:

90–100 Excellent

75–89 Good

60–74 Needs Improvement

Below 60 High Risk

What is Dependency Complexity?

Dependency Complexity estimates how difficult workflow relationships are to understand and maintain.

Possible values:

Low

Medium

High
