Add independent sampler/scheduler controls for base vs lightning models
in the Advanced node based on Reddit community feedback. Simple node
maintains backward compatibility.
BREAKING CHANGE: Advanced node parameter changes
- Added: base_sampler, base_scheduler (for Stage 1)
- Added: lightning_sampler, lightning_scheduler (for Stage 2 & 3)
- Removed: sampler_name, scheduler parameters
Features:
- Advanced node: Separate sampler/scheduler for base model vs lightning
- Simple node: Unchanged, still uses sampler_name/scheduler
- All 5 switching strategies work with new parameters
- Boundary calculations use lightning sampler/scheduler
- Debug logging reordered to match UI parameter layout
Documentation:
- Updated tooltips to show stage numbers for model inputs
- Added Parameter Reference section for sampler/scheduler params
- Added third-party switch node documentation
- Reorganized example workflows into T2V/I2V variants
- Updated README with new workflow structure
Testing:
- All 125 tests passing
- Updated Advanced node tests to use new parameters
- Simple node tests maintain backward-compatible parameters
- Added CFG behavior tests for parameter differentiation
Migration Guide:
Advanced node users must update workflows to replace:
sampler_name → base_sampler + lightning_sampler
scheduler → base_scheduler + lightning_scheduler
Simple node users: No changes required
