Seven pages and a workflow that published them to the GitHub wiki was
more machinery than the ask. One file in the repo does the same job:
getting started, usage, node reference, HTTP API, architecture,
development and troubleshooting, with a contents list at the top.

Page links became anchors, images moved up a directory, and the section
describing the publishing workflow went with the workflow.
