The registry is what ComfyUI Manager reads, so this is the last mile of the one-click install the whole line is built on. Releasing is one edit: bump [project].version and push. comfy-cli publishes the version written in pyproject.toml — not a tag, not the commit — so a forgotten bump silently republishes nothing and a wrong bump is public immediately. The branch filter is master, not the action README's main. Needs one repository secret, REGISTRY_ACCESS_TOKEN, from the publisher account. Validated locally first: comfy node validate passes its config and security checks, and the packed archive is 16.5 KB of code, README and LICENSE with tests/ excluded by .comfyignore.
