Upload Widget Implementation - COMPLETE ✅

The MediaSelection node now includes fully functional upload buttons for both image and video uploads when media_source is set to "Upload Media".

What Was Implemented

Media Selection Node Upload Widgets

The MediaSelection node now features interactive upload widgets that provide a user-friendly interface for uploading media files when media_source is set to "Upload Media".

✅ Successfully Implemented Features

1. Dynamic Upload Buttons

   • 📁 Choose Image: Appears when media_type = "image"
   • 📹 Choose Video: Appears when media_type = "video"
   • Only the relevant button is shown based on media type selection
   • Buttons are properly hidden/shown when switching media types

2. ComfyUI Integration

   • Uses api.uploadImage() for image uploads
   • Uses /upload/image endpoint for video uploads
   • Proper file handling and storage in ComfyUI's input directory
   • File paths are stored in hidden text widgets for workflow processing

3. Smart Widget Management

   • Creates separate upload button widgets (not converting existing text widgets)
   • Hides original text input widgets during Upload Media mode
   • Shows appropriate upload widgets based on media type
   • Maintains widget state when switching between Upload/Randomize modes

4. User Experience

   • Click-to-upload interface with clear emoji icons
   • File type filtering (images or videos only)
   • Visual feedback on successful upload
   • Error handling with clear feedback

Upload Process Flow

1. User selects "Upload Media" as media_source
2. User selects media type (image/video)

8. Node marked as changed for workflow execution

Backend Integration
