the weight cache block in load() was replaced with a direct load:
Before:
pythonif lora_path in _lora_weight_cache:
logger.info(f"[FEnodes/FELoraLoad] Cache hit: '{lora_name}'")
weights = _lora_weight_cache[lora_path]
else:
logger.info(...)
weights = comfy.utils.load_torch_file(lora_path, safe_load=True)
_lora_weight_cache[lora_path] = weights
After:
pythonlogger.info(...)
weights = comfy.utils.load_torch_file(lora_path, safe_load=True)
And _lora_weight_cache was removed from the import line at the top. Everything else in nodes_lora.py is identical.
.fe-info.json sidecar gone — routes.py no longer writes cache files into the loras folder. The cache path is now constructed via _info_cache_path(file_hash) which resolves to {tempfile.gettempdir()}/fenodes_lora_cache/{sha256}.fe-info.json. Keyed on SHA256 rather than filename so it stays valid if a file is renamed or moved.
_TEMP_CACHE_DIR created at module load time in lora_utils.py with os.makedirs(..., exist_ok=True) so it's always present before any route tries to write to it.
_lora_weight_cache removed (cross node caching)
__init__.py — adds from .routes import register_routes and calls it in its own try/except block, consistent with the pattern used for the node modules.
routes.py — only route registrations. register_routes() is called from __init__.py. The PromptServer/aiohttp import is isolated at the top of the function with a specific error message. Each route is in its own try/except — if /fenodes/lora_info fails for any reason, /fenodes/loras still registers and the browser widget still works.
lora_utils.py — all shared logic with no ComfyUI server dependency. Caches, normalize_lora_name, _cached_file_hash, _sha256_full, read_safetensors_metadata, fetch_civitai_info, merge_lora_weights, and all the trigger analysis helpers. The requests import is at the top with its own clear warning if missing — no longer buried inside a try block with unrelated code.
Refactor and enhance the Power LoRA Load widget with improved UI features, including drag-and-drop functionality, right-click info panels, and better state management.
This file implements a custom widget for managing Power LoRA loads in FEnodes. It includes a UI for browsing LoRA files, toggling their states, and adjusting their strengths.
