ComfyUI-EnvProbe

A one-node diagnostic pack. The Env Probe node reports the host ComfyUI runtime so we can decide a wheel/compile strategy without terminal access.

It prints to the server console and shows the report in the node UI and outputs a STRING you can wire into any Show/Preview Text node.

What it reports

  • sys.version, platform
  • torch.__version__, torch.version.cuda, cuDNN version
  • torch.cuda.is_available, device name + compute capability (e.g. sm_89)
  • Import check for the Human3R-relevant deps: numpy, smplx, roma, trimesh, gsplat, einops, cv2 (OK + version / MISSING)

Install on RunComfy

  1. ComfyUI Manager → Install via Git URL (point at this folder's repo), OR drag-drop the ComfyUI-EnvProbe folder into ComfyUI/custom_nodes via the web file browser.
  2. Restart / refresh ComfyUI.
  3. Add the Env Probe node (category utils/debug) to an empty graph and press Queue Prompt.
  4. Read the report in the node, or in the server log panel.

No dependencies; nothing to compile.

Headless / harness

workflow_envprobe_api.json is an API-format graph for comfy run --workflow.
