# How to use this file
|
|
|
|
This is an EXAMPLE role, shown so you can see the format. It is named
|
|
`example.md.example` so the node does NOT load it (the node only reads `*.md`).
|
|
|
|
To create a real role:
|
|
1. Copy this file to `roles/<your_role>.md` (note: `.md`, not `.md.example`).
|
|
2. Replace this content with your system prompt. The whole file becomes the
|
|
prompt text sent to the LLM as its system role.
|
|
3. Optionally set the dropdown label with an HTML comment on the FIRST line:
|
|
`<!-- title: Your Label -->`. That line is stripped from the output. Without
|
|
it the label is the prettified filename (`my_role.md` -> "My Role").
|
|
4. Restart ComfyUI so the new role appears in the dropdown.
|
|
|
|
Your `roles/*.md` files are gitignored, so your prompts stay private and local.
