## Emergency Recovery: Restore Official ComfyUI-nunchaku `__init__.py`
**If your ComfyUI-nunchaku `__init__.py` becomes corrupted, broken, or unrecoverable**, see the **Upgrade Guide for v1.57 and Earlier Users**, specifically **Option 3: Method B** ([Restore Official Nunchaku `__init__.py` from Repository](#method-b-restore-official-nunchaku-__init__py-from-repository)) for detailed recovery instructions.
The recovery process downloads the official clean version from the Nunchaku repository, and v1.60 will continue to work perfectly because it uses the standalone loading mechanism.
